For decades, we at Diener & Rapp have stood for the highest quality, precision and passion when it comes to finishing aluminium surfaces by anodising. With our many years of experience, we have established ourselves as a reliable partner in the metalworking industry.
Our focus is on the machining of components that place the highest demands on function, corrosion protection and durability. Thanks to our Anodising process we create surfaces that not only protect, but also look good.
3RM: Addition of chromating and passivation
With 3RM, we now have another strong brand in our group of companieswhich takes over part of our existing range of services. 3RM specialises in chromating and passivating aluminium and other metals. We use state-of-the-art processes such as Bonderite M-NT 400 (formerly Alodine) and surtec 650 for use.
Chromating improves the corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of metal surfaces and often serves as a primer for subsequent painting or powder coating. Passivation is another important treatment to protect components from environmental influences in the long term.
Thanks to this specialisation, 3RM offers our customers an important functional addition to anodising - especially in applications where technical requirements and process reliability are paramount.

Expertise for the metalworking industry - M-NT 400 and surtec 650
Both Diener & Rapp and 3RM specialise in the metalworking industry. Our customers come from the Mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology, the automotive supply industry, the aerospace industry and other industrial sectors with the highest quality requirements.
Thanks to the combination of anodising, chromating, PassivationBonderite M-NT 400 and surtec 650, we can offer surface solutions that are precisely tailored to industrial requirements.
Synergies that create added value
- Our partnership with 3RM makes this possible:
- Holistic surface solutions: From anodising and chromating to passivation.
- Technical flexibility: For various functional requirements, e.g. corrosion protection, electrical conductivity or improving adhesion.
- Maximum process reliability: All procedures are carried out according to industrial standards - reliably and certified.

Together into the future
The combination of Diener & Rapp with 3RM is an important step towards offering the metalworking industry comprehensive and future-orientated solutions from a single source. Together, we are focussing on innovation, precision and uncompromising quality in order to give our customers a decisive competitive advantage in the future.
