The colour configurator helps you find the right colour. Colours and surfaces play a central role in the anodising process. The oxide layer that forms during anodising is porous by nature. This opens up the possibility of storing dyes or pigments in the pores and thus creating a variety of colour shades. From subtle matt black to vibrant blue, almost any shade is possible with colour anodising.

The colour tone is influenced by the type of dye used, the duration of colouring and the depth of the pores. However, it is not only the choice of colour that can be varied, but also the texture of the surface. The appearance of the anodised aluminium can be significantly influenced by various pre-treatment methods such as grinding, polishing or blasting, which can also be seen in the colour configurator. Smooth, high-gloss surfaces or structured, matt textures can be created using colour anodising.
